So!

I am within a month or so of owning a house

I just found out that something I did at work was highlighted in this month's company newsletter, which means that my supervisor, her supervisor, and her supervisor (yes, I am a little low on the totem pole) all said or heard my name in a positive context, which is awesome.

I'm applying to a TON of weekend and evening babysitting jobs, just to start a bit of a "cushion" for the house. It's 122 years old, and most of it has been renovated, but there are some small things I'd like to do (some painting, buying furniture, making a real deck and garden out back) and some big unexpected bad things that I'm sure will come up.

But best of all... King_Mob is coming to visit! Tonight! Yay!
