I was remembered today!
A two year old (technically 31 month old) recognized me today after having not seen me for 7 months. Which is nearly a quarter of her life, for reference. Of course, professionals do NOT have favorite children, and I certainly love them all equally... *cough*. Some children are more equal than others.
She would always call me "mami" because our real names are very similar and she didn't really know how to deal with calling someone by "her" name.
Since this is most assuredly less thrilling to everyone else, I'd just like to add that my love affair with neighbors to the north came early in my life:
