My friends give me the warm fuzzies. Even though I lived in NY for almost 20 years, I have about 3 friends from there who I met offline who I really consider "friends" beyond the facebook term (And of course, Ekka is one of them!). Here, even though I mostly only know people from work, they are wonderful, amazing people. There was a baby shower/party event tonight that I couldn't attend because I had a ton of homework to catch up on, and a friend wrote on my wall that I was missed and people were asking about me.
That is a rather small gesture that meant SO much.
