Does anyone else feel really weird befriending people on Facebook? When I find people I know, I am always hesitant to send a friend request. I know I shouldn't care so much, but for some reason I do. I feel like if they wanted to befriend me, they would have done so already.
The current dilemma is my cousin. We've never been close because of the age difference (she's 11 years older than I am) but I saw her pop up as a friend of my aunt (not her mother, the sister of her mother and my father). I want to friend request her, but at the same time, I wonder if she'd deny it for some reason. I guess I may as well, the worst that could happen is she denies it and I feel slightly rejected.
