Alas, it is time for a new blog.
All I can really think of right now that I care to share with the world is that I hate being called pet names by customers at work. Sweetie, honey, baby (!!! I can't believe someone used that), babe... it's all kind of degrading. And though I thought it was just men, some women have taken to it as well. I would never call someone that if I didn't know them... hell, I have a hard time calling someone by anything other than their given name or common nickname even when I'm close to them.

I should probably edit this to say that it's only annoying when it's a stranger. If you went through my text messages, particularly those to and from xbradx, I have called and been called many things that aren't real names. And that always makes me happy.
