I have found the worst site on the internet. It is not the goatse guy or tubgirl, it is not German pornography, and it is not my mom's facebook page. It is a simple picture with the caption "Let me be the first to say: I love this boy". Maybe this seems innocent and simple, and possibly even_cute, but it is nothing of the sort. It is a vicious attack of character where there simply is none. That's right, it's my ex boyfriend and his new girlfriend.
The attack of character begins by the simple suggestion that this boy has some. I don't know anyone who has less, really. Do you know anyone worse than a person who lies for two whole years about loving someone, for the express purpose of getting into that person's pants? How about someone who sleeps with a woman, only to tell her later that it was just to keep her happy? Or maybe someone who is articulate enough to state that she makes him uncomfortable, but suddenly can't find the words to say why.
Let me be the first to say, that she is not the first person to love that boy. She may be the last, because I certainly don't anymore, but she is not the first. He had a really good girlfriend before her, and will probably end up with another really good one after. He's a smooth operator, that one. Maybe she's the first one who hears the truth when he says it back.
And maybe that hurts a little more than I can handle right now.
