Well... back from Houston...
The interview went great. The UT-Houston Med School is awesome. There is so much there in terms of resources. There is a huge cancer and heart hospital... imaging facilities... 3 hospitals... it's ridiculous... haha now if I can only get over the fact I hate Houston... a place where it floods... or the smog is so bad you can taste it.. or the traffic can be so bad that it takes you hours when it should take you minutes...
There is a lot to do in the city though.. and I have good memories associated with Houston... some bad too.. but I'm over those. Bah.. I still hope I hear from UT San Antonio... I hope I like that school more.. and I hope I get in...
I like San Antonio much more than I like Houston... have a lot of friends there too. oh well... we'll see.. I still have about a month to find out...
In other news.. my ass and arms... 12 hours of driving in 2 days will do that to you... I also did around 100 pushups out of boredom... because my friends ditched me in Houston to go back to school earlier... they were interviewing too. Oh well... I'm out of shape.... need to work out more.. :/
