I have a major biochemistry test Tuesday... I've been studying off and on for it all weekend... I THINK I'm ready for it... but who knows.

I have a conference to go to Thursday... will be back Sunday. I really don't feel like going to it but it's part of my job description for one of the organizations I'm in. Atleast we're going to be in the Dallas area so I know what's around where we are staying.

Things are moving very slowly right now if my life... probably because I'm waiting for the med schools I applied at to call me back for interviews... I call home almost every day to see if there are any messages for me. I am getting a little impatient at this point but I'm keeping a grip.

I went to my 1st casino boat last night with my roommate, one of his Irish friends from back home, the friend's g/f, and a few of the international students. I don't gamble or drink so it was a little boring but I went ahead and put a $1 in the penny slots and ended up giving a little Mexican lady the test of my plays because I found out I took her seat on accident. I didn't really mind.... but the smoke and sleepiness got to me so I went home a little early.

My roommate and his friend came back to the room a little tipsy and called a friend that is back in Ireland (with my permission of course). It was pretty funny listening to them all.

Well... back to the books more later maybe
