back from Nicaragua... visited two volcanoes... went to two beaches... got lost countless times... sunburnt 5 times.. the truck we were in broke 2 times.. we rode in the public buses... ate the native food.. visited several cities.. got husseled by the cops... I caught bats and released them... got swarmed by bugs (no bot flies)... got such a bad crick in my neck from the shitty beds I could barely move... fell down a 20 foot drop and hit the ground running so not to get hit in the face by a bat.. walked well over 40 miles (not all at once) saw a few gorgeous lakes.. been to one of the two lakes in the world that has sharks.. so a bunch of cool birds, mammals, reptiles, and insects...*takes a deep breath* umm.. missed Dey so much it kept me up at night.. used an internet cafe for the 1st time... went to the black market... drunk rum.. went to the oldest catholic church in nicaraguan... met some hippies.. talked to a french guy backpacking through central america... took over 200 picures.. did I mentioned a missed Dey? rode a horse... went to bed by 10pm every night.. listened to all my cds.. woke up at 4-5am every day..looked up at a stars.. got rained on for 5 days straight because we were there during the rainy season.... went to a cloud forest.... saw a butterfly with clear wings... saw the world's largest toad... skipped rocks in the Pacific Ocean... used a cell phone in Central America.. missed Dey more... and admitted I may love her.. umm... got yelled at by old people in markets... tried to learn Spanish and failed.... had fun.. really tired.... and fuck... there is so much more.. but I can't remember because I'm home and tired... more later I'm sure...
