as of wednesday night, unbeknownst to me at the time, one of my best friends is now a married woman.

i ask you, is it so hard to inform me of this fact? why do i find out from a third party who is neither my nor her friend but whom she called just to inform of her recent nuptuals?

it's no surprise she got married, i was expecting that (immigration's a bitch) but it shocked me that i was not informed/invited. we talked about the whole thing last weekend, forchrissakes. shit. that's 2 out of the 4 of us eastern-block girls (long story with the name; well not really: these guys we used to hang out with once in a while gave us that name because we're all from eastern europe [the same country, actually]) who are married. and i have not attended either of the weddings because one took place out of this country and the other i was not informed about.

i swear to god, i'm so eloping. and it'll be in like brazil or something equally crazy and festive.

i have not slept all night/day. i'm trying to survive this weekend without sleep. think i can do it? having had several conversations (with myself) about the non-existance of impossibility, i believe everything to be possible.

impossibility does not exist until unwillingness or denial create it.

(i'm ridiculously tired though)

Same thing happenned to me this weekend. I was going to pick up a friend of mine (who happens to be even better friends with the guy...or so we thought) and I saw a sign for his wedding. We knew the bride and groom pretty well...that bastard.
Perhaps it is time to create a non-profit organization that ensures that such attrocities are properly dealt with (laser eye surgery...)
