there is nothing better than curling up with a book and reading all day. (except maybe sex.)

it's good that i hold reading in such high regard, because it's what i did alllll weekend.

i went to the mall yesterday, i guess. i wanted to get something for my dad (got him a dairy queen soft serve cake with a sailboat (!) on it - my dad has always wanted a boat and this is as close as i can get right now). i spent $64 on langar. WHY DO I DO THIS?! i really honestly do not NEED stocking holders. i don't even know what they're really actually called. i can only wear them for a few minutes, tops. heh.

maybe i should shoot a set? heh. kidding, kidding.

work was great last night. i kept busy. cooked (HUUUUGE sheppard's pie). this morning i couldn't have breakfast because i had to get blood taken. they're testing me for celiac's disease (glutein allergy), meaning if i have it i cannot eat any wheat products. my mother has it, so there's a good chance i have it also. of course after they took my blood, i had a gigantic breakfast and now my (s)tummy hurts.

i'm taking a friend out for dinner for her birthday today, cause that's what happens when you're my friend!

i think i might want a "little prince" affiliated tattoo. or some other book i enjoyed as a child.
