my friends mom has that. and she cant eat much of anything. ive sampled some of her gluten free goods, as in cookies and such, and they are terrible. but then again she doesnt by anything expensive. the american market might be cheaper than canadas though, so maybe you should look into it. if you want i can ask her where she gets most of her stuff next time i see her

Sounds like you need to take a visit to Chapters/Indigo and look for some gluten-free cookbooks. A friend of mine was diagnosed with the same thing, and she seems to be making out alright now after some trouble changing her diet.

I've had some alright gluten free cookies and such from The Big Carrot (out on the Danforth) before as well.

I have little to no sweet-tooth though, so my immediate reaction is simply to stop eating that stuff. But I know that's harder than I would think.

Don't be sorry for your emo rant. I totally understand. I have been so busy with work and stuff it just feels like I dont have time for anything else.
But it's ok cause I get to go away soon. I didn't mean that in a rubbing it in kind of way. But I think thats what you need. A vacation. Or at least just set aside a weekend that you can just relax and go out and have a good time. And not think about work and school.
