I'm going to complain in your journal! You know what's really depressing lately? The fact that it's SO dark out when I get up for work at 7:00. ugh. It's so hard to drag my ass out of bed when it's still so dark in the bedroom. I just want to pull the covers up, snuggle in, and sleep for another hour.

yeah.. walkin' sucks. Especially when it's to a bus stop, and not a subway stop. I live right around the corner from Ossington Station, so when I don't ride my bike it's just a quick ~5 minute walk to the subway. And the same thing when I get out at Bay Station. It's a quick commute..

Same thing happenned to me this weekend. I was going to pick up a friend of mine (who happens to be even better friends with the guy...or so we thought) and I saw a sign for his wedding. We knew the bride and groom pretty well...that bastard.
Perhaps it is time to create a non-profit organization that ensures that such attrocities are properly dealt with (laser eye surgery...)

ok, I'm going to be frank here.. you can't go to a meat-market like Tonic and complain about TO's nightlife. There's lots of nice, single boys out there also.. but I can't imagine you're going to find one anywhere along Richmond Street. I mean, I'm sure they probably exist, but you've gotta wade through the 99% asshole/guido/gino factor to get to them. Not really worth the effort if you ask me.

Where to go in Toronto, huh? Well, it depends on what you're looking for I guess. I mean, given the right people I think I could have a good time most places. As long as the music is good.. but it all depends on what I'm looking for, you know? I'm not a big dancer, so I typically don't go for those types of places. I hate having to yell over loud music all night if I'm just looking to hang out. So that generally means hanging out at more pubby type places.. or going out to a few good regular 'nights'. I have some friends that run an electro/disco night that's usually a pretty good time. That's every Wednesday at NASA (http://www.dialectro.com/).. and also some other friends who run a hiptop/idm/DnB type of night called Altered Beats.. It's a monthly even. The next one is on Oct 9. If I'm just going to hang out I like places like The Pilot in Yorkville.. Or C'est What on Front E.. Or sometimes Sneaky Dee's..
