Today, a guy tried to pick me up...

we were both in our cars, on a major road, he was facing the other way across the median and asked if I wanted to get a "cold one".

It just didn't seem like the optimal place for a pick-up.

Kinda weired, it was flattering anyway.

I just came by to say I'm sorry S and I didn't make it all the way to Cali and get to meet you two. We had a great trip, and got as far as the Grand Canyon. If we had pushed harder to go farther, it would have sucked the fun out of the trip. I'm still hoping to get out to the West Coast this summer, but who knows now. I'm still jobhunting. If I can make it out west, I have always liked Santa Cruz, so you may get a call.

Congrats on the flirt. It's always fun.
