Yesterday I went to my new apartment and all the blinds were up so I could see inside now that all the other tenants stuff was out. It looked awesome.
Later, I decided to drive by again...cause I'm psycho like that, and I thought I saw a light on in the house. So I parked and walked up to the door. But then all the lights were out. Since no one is supposed to be in there, I went to the back door and put my face up to it to see the kitchen...much like this...
I was a little taken aback cause I could just barely see an outline of a man. Weird...is that my own reflection? I don't think so. I look again and there's definitely a man in there talking on the phone. He opens the door and it's the old tenant, in the dark, talking on the phone. That was a little weird but he was very nice and let me in to look at the place since I hadn't seen it without all their stuff in it.
The moral of the story is you probably shouldn't go around peeping in windows as much as I do...

they are more broad comedy and less dark - but still fucked up. dorsey is the more violent of the two (start with Florida Roadkill) and hiaasen is more mainstream (he wrote Striptease)...
But even that? Don't let it deter you from peeping.
It can be a low calorie good time.
