Top O' the mornin to ya!
Soooo, I'm on vacation this week. It's been pretty good. I havn't done too much, but just as long as I'm not at work, that's all that matters.
Let's see. My week off started out last Friday. I was just about to leave my house to go to work for a few hours (we were supposed to get outta work early on Friday), when my boss phoned to ask me if I'd like to stay home. Of course I said yes...cuz really....who wants to work when they don't have to? So I went shopping and such and killed a few hours til I got to go see my hubby at work. I brought him some Arby's on his lunch break and we sat on a blanket on the grass. After we ate, he gave me a totally sweet card.....and a Promise ring.
. I was so happy. We'd been talking about it for a little while and I knew we had plans to go look at some more on the weekend, but he went to the mall before work that day and picked up the one that I had said I liked. I was very very happy and excited. 
So then later that night we went to The Horseshoe to see a few bands, including The Royal Crowns....who are a totally awesome Rockabilly type band. We'd seen them a few times before and my hubby and his sister know the band members so it was a good time......aside the fact that it was SOOO cold in that place that I thought my limbs were going to freeze and fall off. But we heard good news that The Royal Crowns will be playing at the Brampton Fall Fair this year so that's pretty exciting.
For the next couple of days we went either shopping, driving around, sitting around watching movies or did the hanky panky.
My hubby wasn't feeling the greatest so we took it easy for the most part. Although yesterday, we went and bought some cupcakes at the Cupcake Shoppe (that I learned about from Lycoris ) , ate dinner at Shanghai Cowgirl, and drove around Toronto for a bit.
Today we went to the Science Centre, ate dinner at East Side Mario's, picked up my ring that was getting resized, and rented some movies. Tomorrow is our 5 month anniversary and I think we're going to the ROM....and possibly to The Rainforest Cafe for dinner. So it's been relaxing and fun.....which is what we both needed. Although I must say that I sort of have missed the kids from work....even if they are mostly buggers msot of the time. But yeah. I'll leave you with some random pictures from the last week or so.
