People are strange...

3 weeks ago, I applied to join a private group ( which will remain nameless for the time being ). Since I got no news, I wrote to the owner to enquire about the delays.

She finally wrote back stating that I wasn't active enough on the SG site to be admitted. She also said that, as far as she knew, I could be a lurker or even worse a stalker using the site for whatever reason ...

I am probably not the MOST active person on the site, but I am here daily and I interact as often as I can when there is an interest. And I'm far from being dangerous !

As I pointed out the the "owner" ( which will also remain nameless )in my reply, How can I be more active if I am denied access to a forum that fits my interest and my geographical location ?

She sent back a message saying I was aggressive and harassing her... and wouldn't deserve anyway to join the group.

I'm positively flabbergasted.

What's the point in paying to be here if we are treated this way...
