Is it a bad thing if im not happy with my body? is it a bad thing if i want to get some liposuction? Or a boob job? I have been thinking about TRYING to work to save the money to get it done.. (i dont think i will ever be able to afford it) But it just sucks.. i have tried the diet and exercise and diet pills and nothing is working.. what else could i possibly try? i hate the body i was cursed with... frown

seconded. wanting to improve yourself is never a bad thing as long as you attach realistic expectations. I briefly considered surgery awhile back but ultimately ruled it out due the risks, the fact that it doesn't solve the problem and the cheaper/beneficial alternatives. I lost 60lbs in 3 months by increasing my metabolism. There are many ways to do that so I ended up combining a few.

-Went on a healthier diet (created it myself by what is available at the local grocery store, you don't need to go crazy). I still eat some fast food but I pretty much stopped drinking soda. This is BETTER calories but still about the same amount so this isn't going to lose you any weight.

-I went to 6 meals day, basically I ate something every 3 hours (smaller meals). Calorie intake is still the same but by splitting it up it increases your metabolism and eventually your stomach will shrink in size since you arn't filling it up as much. This helps you maintain the diet later since you will get FULL quicker and hungry quicker. Actually by only eating 3 meals a day your body goes into starvation mode and stores extra fat (ie: lowers your metabolism).

-Then exercise, I did 5 days a week for about an hour. Mostly elliptical or exercise bike. Anywhere between 400-600 calories burned but the best part is increased metabolism.

- Muscle building, not sure if you want this or not but more muscle = higher metabolism.

-Green tea supposedly increases your metabolism.

so its NOT calories you should be worried about, its your metabolism. kick that shit in overdrive. biggrin

I wouldn't stress. You're beautiful. Would you rather have a killer bod but an ugly face? wink
