ok, um ow.

The barn raising was a smashing success. Bone smashing, that is.

I am not quite sure why I always have to be the one to get hurt in a ridiculously unco-oridinated interaction with inanitmate objects, but I will never fail to entertain as I yet again refuse to allow an entire day to go by without hurting myself in some jackass slapstick way.

I DO have many pics to update this story with, but alas... it's a BEAUTIFUL day for once on a sunday, and that means that I have this silvery tendril tugging at my navel, and the far end of it is anchored somewhere out there under a log on a beach called wreck. Must flee... must pack up my backpack with much sunscreen, backgammon, books (which I never seem to read once I get down there, yet I always take with me), blankets, camera, beer cozy, Settlers of Catan and a general disregard for any form of clothing.
