for once on a weekend, I am actually quite happy that it's going to be crappy and overcast.
Why?
Cuz I get to work today YAY!

and actually, i'm not really being sarcastic there, I am quite happy that I get to work today because I fought long and hard this week for the ability to go into this particular installation over the weekend -- all by myself -- with all the time in the world -- to test and test and test and debug.

that equals zero stress for the beginning of the week when I can walk into the office on Monday morning, smiling and worry free.

I would be silently weeping tears into the keyboard if I was locked up in a building today while wreck beach was basking in the rays. Well that's not going to happen, so sorry to everybody else that was planning on having a nice summery weekend.

So my friday night was relatively calm. Met up with an old work friend for beers last night, came back here and screwed around with my keyboard for a couple hours and was asleep before midnight.
I plan on having more crazy nights like that as this week progresses.
