oh my god it's cold in here.
I wish whoever was responsible for the boiler room in the basement of this building would figure out the relationship between hot outside, cold outside, and whether or not the boiler should be on.
It's FREEZING cold in here this morning, (well, 18 C or around 64 F). When I woke up, I found myself wrapped mummylike under as much of the covers as I could find and my arms were cold. Man that makes it hard to get out of bed.
Course, I walk out here into the living room and press my hand up against the radiator. Icy and I'm shivering as I type this.
In a few more days, this rain will end, the sun will come out and broil through these south facing windows, heating up the hardwood floors and turning this place into a furnace.
Then, and only then, will the guy go downstairs and turn on the boiler.
Why don't they make electric housecoats? That would rock. well, except for the part about walking around trailing the extension cord.
