first... thank you SO MUCH fenris23 for the dropping of the word today. You probably wouldn't have guessed it, but you have just changed A LOT.

I have way too much to say about that right now, not as I am just waiting for the bath to draw. I will have to work on that. It's deeply personal for me, and I know I haven't ever really approached the topic here on this site.. well not directly, so it's going to take a few days to process.

Secondly. I have to say that there are few things in this world that freak me out as much as an animal (usually a pet) when it suddenly perks up and starts staring intently at nothing. Just sitting there, motionless, completely intense, not blinking, ears straight up... and as much as I look into the direction of the gaze.... I see nothing, hear nothing, and the animal is obviously convinced there's something there.

Never fails to skeeve me out.
