still working on an actual update here... I've been reading this book, y'see... and I hit this chapter which totally struck me, and struck me like a .. like a .. like a thing that likes to strike me.

so it's probably illegal in some prehistoric pre-RIAA trademark infringement sorta way, but I like the chapter so much I am typing the whole thing out. It's alot of words and it's taking me a while. ('sheesh' would say jughead.) I think I type faster when I am just talking.

In other news, I was just looking up the word "epithet" because I used it in dey's journal just now and wanted to make sure I had the right word.

I always thought epithet was just a swear, but the 'genus species' of the Albertan Magpie is "pica pica".

I guess that makes pica the epithet.
