Wow, it truly is Christmas eve, isnt it.
I had a dream last night that I met a woman. I was at my old house back in Calgary and it was Christmas. I met her at the next door neighbors house, and she was Destinys Child. She wasnt black though, and there was no band associated with her, thats just who she was. It was pouring a torrential downpour and she left before me to go to my house. I let her wear my sleeping bag to keep dry and I soon followed behind her. I had to run through swamps in my bare feet to get from here to there, but eventually I showed up at the back door of my old house, and dad pointed out onto the deck to ask me what that was all about. It was the destiny girl, sitting in the rain on our deck, wrapped up in my sleeping bag with her black hair stuck wet and flat around her head. She was quite beautiful. She didnt want to go inside because she wasnt comfortable meeting my parents without me. I took her inside, and my old kitchen was full of Christmas food, there was a huge turkey on the counter, and so many colours of so much food everywhere. She took me by the hand then, and somehow knew where my bedroom was. We just kissed in there, and even in a dream it was a wonderful feeling.
I also had another dream ... or actually a recurring dream that always took place in this one particular corner of the city down by coal harbor. I was having that dream about 8 or 9 months ago, and it always had something to do with a woman in that particular area. Strange aura dreams, those were.

Well, I am just packing up my laptop and whatnot to head down to a highrise near there to program their communal theatre. Those old aura dreams, in combination with last nights dream and the fact that I am now going into the heart of that area for the first time makes me a little anxious. That's a good thing.
I emailed R a Merry Christmas this morning.
I just wanted to step aside from the current state of things for a second to wish you a Merry Christmas,
So Merry Christmas! I hope you have a good one.
It wasn't much, but it was a seasonal love thing. Doubt she'll respond, but I meant it and that's all that matters.
Shit! Just remembered to take the turkey out of the freezer. I hope that wasn't too late for a tomorrow defrost. I have no idea what I am going to do with a 12 pound turkey, but it was the smallest one I could find.
