Ministry is playing tonight with My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult. I SO MUCH WANT TO GO
but I didn't get tickets fast enough
(in this case, "fast enough" is within 3 days of them going on sale.)

The Commodore.
The last time I saw Ministry, they played with Sepultura and Helmet, and they played in a terrible tinny venue called the Pacific National Exhibition Colloseum. Basically just a hockey rink.
The Commodore is going to be amazing though, Robyn and I saw The Cramps there last year, and even with me on crutches with a broken leg, it was amazing. Incredibly intimate.
So I've never had any dealings with scalpers before, but I am going to head on down there and see what I can dredge up. If they are asking for more than twice the price, I'm comin home.
On the email note... yeah, I did email a short apology. Nothing too extreme:
Sorry for my haste to get that exchange over with so quickly, Im doing the best I can. If I appeared angry, that wasnt directed at you. I just have a bit of trouble knowing what to do with some of these circumstances that are coming up. Im sure you can relate.

She responded almost right away with a basic response of saying she didn't even notice. That's absolute bull, she knows me well enough, and she definitely knows when I am being "snarky".
I was snarky.

I'm running the dog out now, and hopefully getting my ministry on.
Oh yeah, I got a promotion at work. I am now the manager of the programming department. I think all that means is that now they don't have to pay me overtime as often. Bastages. They better at least get me new business cards.

Do you sense her being fake in her dealings with you?
Think she can just get over it that soon?
As long as you are being truthful with yourself first, that matters most. Eventually one day you will be over it, and her and she will be able to tell that you aren't faking it. By over it, you know what I mean, in a different place, over the anger and frustration without denying yoru feelings. And to think I was going to suggest you 'fake it til you make it' at first, F*ck that! Authentic is best. You are right.
