Leaving a great dane alone in the apartment with a newly decorated christmas tree...
I don't think he MEANT to thrash it... probably just knocked it over somehow, at which point it landed on his bed, so he simply slept on it all afternoon.
Most of the new decorations we bought, I'm afraid, are quite broken, but dammit.. I'm salvaging this tree!

If there was an entire "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree lot, this tree would be the tree that all the other trees in that lot would be laughing at.

update. 20 minutes later.
Ok, I picked it up and stood it back up, vacuumed all the pine needles off the carpet.
