forgot my cellphone in a cab this morning.

Didnt' even realize I'd left it, or had it out. Nonetheless, by noon it was reported missing and the cab company called my office to let them know where it was.

I decided to walk the trip from Main st to Granville Isle to pick it up.
It was dark, yet clear, and I could do the sea wall / parks for most of the trek. Didn't take too long.

I was hoping for some clarity of thought along the way, as though all the xmas lights out there on the yachts would magically transform themselves and display some answer to me like some cheesy and massive nautical "Lite Brite".













nope. Didn't happen.

after about 20 minutes of walking, my pace had quickened and I suddenly caught my own voice in my ears.

Don't know how long I was doing this for, but I guess I had come up with a little beat pattern to keep my steps in order, and was quietly whispering to my march.

and THAT can't be good.
