Gay pride parade was yesterday, wow the west end was PACKED

There was plenty of eyecandy out for a porr little straightboy like myself though. All in all it was a great day. Of course, any day that involves sitting on a patio somewhere, drinking beer and watching the crowds float by could be considered a great day

it was my ex's birthday on Saturday,...

funny how things tend to get away from you over the years. One of the things really bothering me in the last 5 years or so was the apparent loss of my deeper brain. The whispers that came to me in colours from my medulla oblongata, and my general acceptance and contemplation of something in this world that's deeper and more meaningful than trying to...

Jesus, down I go again. This time it's cleaning the microwave shelving unit that's setting me off.

I'm pretty sure by this point that nobody's really reading this, so I don't have much of a problem being totally fucking honest. Kind of a therapy I suppose.

Question to myself: WHAT DID I THINK WOULD HAPPEN?
here's the scenario, I wake up one day and realize...

Thanks flygirl. a big part of me knows that the future could be everything wonderful. But the human in me is seriously questioning my decision. Key point I'm making here is you saying "if you believe it is the right thing"....
I don't at this moment know how to answer that.

Catch me at another time throughout the day, and I may be in a good moment: thinking the breakup was absolutely right. But man, so far those moments are far outnumbered by the "oh my god, what the fuck did i just do" moments.

I hope one day I'll come back and read this day, and say "oh man, I remember that. thank god that's over."

That may be the same day you come back and remember that time when you were temporarily broke, and didn't have a job.
wtf:
5 year rule.....

Your story, situation, life intrigues me. I've felt the same way myself on more than one occasion. With different outcomes.

Obviously this isn't something you did on a whim. You've listen to your heart and it's not like a new "piece" came through and you went with it, which holds credibility to your decision.

Sometimes I feel I only stick around to see how this crazy life turns out.....

I especially hate questions like, "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" Who knows.... what a dumb question.

You have soul man....don't trade that for anything....or anyone.

weird. I just had a premonition that my ex is going to or already has went out and gotten her clitoral hood peirced.

That's weird. Wonder where that came from.

I'm 6'3", and I think I stretched to that height over the brief hormonal stint between 13 and 16. I started smoking at 15 or 16 so I guess that's what stunted my growth and stopped me at this height. However, I have always been the one that could pig out on anything and NEVER gain any weight. I was permanently stuck between 145 and...

Ok, maybe by the standards of some of the lower 48. 95 degrees farenheit isn't that hot. By these canadian standards though, when the thermometer crosses the 31 degree celcius mark, it's bloody hot.
Spent yesterday down at the local "clothing optional" beach: Wreck Beach. Once the breeze stopped, the heat comin down on my nekkidass body felt like it had weight to it....

well, today is proving to be a strange day. I am finding myself single again after a 12 year relationship. It didn't really go down like I thought it would, there was no screamin, no crying, no crazed pacing...
I just said "I don't want to be in a relationship anymore" and she said "stop talking".
She immediately picked up an empty storage box and...

I started taking all the condiments out of the inside of the door. I cant believe how gross it is. Thick brown sticky rings, garlic cloves, almost empty jars of plum sauce, HP, soy sauce So many dinners. Is that what it was? I couldnt believe what a trigger it was. I fought off the choke up at first, but the more stuff I took out of the fridge the more bleak I felt. The plastic interior became like a morgue. By the time I got the inside of the door emptied out, I was almost having to stop. Finally I did move on to the top shelf and continue on. For some reason the half full carton of cream was particularly difficult. Its good until tomorrow, but since Im dairy free for the next 10 days, I dumped it down the sink. The stark white of the empty fridge behind me radiated out and I just stood there pouring the cream down the sink in my shadow. I had to walk away at that point. I am totally shocked at how totally devastating it is to see that fridge so empty. Its incredibly bright inside now, but I havent actually cleaned it. All the old spills and crumbs and drips stand out like the frozen bodies of an expedition crew lost for years in the arctic, finally spotted from the air by the wife of one of the dead men. Shes in the passenger seat of a recon flight.

Maybe thats it, those sticky puddles symbolize so many shared dinners, usually ones she would make for special occasions. I dont even know how old that plum sauce must be. I dont remember eating plum sauce. I know that bottle of antipasto Im about to throw out was from the batch the she made with her friend back in 97 or so. That was the week before her infidelity and I hung onto that bottle of antipasto like it was our heart.
