I remember . It was a difficult time indeed. Things are better now...for both of us I gather. I am on the cusp of letting go of the love I have felt for the last 7 years for one man. It feels as good as it does sad. At the risk of sounding a bit cliche' I have found without the feelings of devistation every now and again I dont think we are able to really appreciate the good times. Man, you should have offered to help pay for hte vet bill if you could have in any way possible. Then it might have allowed you to at least still find out the condition of her. I can't believe this shit.
