So, I've been pretty lazy about updating my blog. A lot has happened since my last one. As of two weeks ago, I am done with Primary flight training. The last flight was a blast - a solo formation flight (solo as in there weren't any instructors in our planes). Last week, I found out that I'm going to be flying Ospreys, which was my first choice. I am very excited. So, I'm moving to Florida for about six months and then coming back to Corpus Christi. While I'm in Florida, I'll be learning to fly helicopters and then coming back here to learn how to fly multi-engine turboprops. (For those of you who don't know what an Osprey is, it is an aircraft that takes off like a helicopter, then swings the rotors forward and flies like a turboprop. Yes, I get to fly a fucking transformer.) Class doesn't start until late September, so I am taking leave to visit friends in Seattle and Portland. I'm not sure what I'll do for the rest of the summer, but hopefully it won't suck.
