This has been an interesting week. Yesterday morning, the bank right outside my bedroom window was robbed at gunpoint while I was gone. So much for the theory that I'm in a relatively safe neighborhood. Now I'm a bit paranoid. Today, I was "double pumped" as they call it. I had two simulator events today and the first one started at 5:30am. That is way to early. And my performance wasn't that great. The second simulator went much better. Of course, as soon as I finished, I saw that I've got two more simulator events tomorrow. Luckily, the won't be quite as early. On the up side, I'll be back in a plane later this week. As much as I want to fly, I'd also like a bit of recovery time. And now, there is a thunderstorm, but still no frakking rain. Well, I think that's enough bitching for today. Back to the books.
