Yesterday we lost our power due to a transformer that blew up in our neighbors yard. They had hazmat signs and tape up everywhere LOL 
. I never fully grocery shop to the point of explosion, but I had yesterday morning. Go figure right? We lost power @ 2pm and got it back around 3am. As we sat in the house with the door and windows opened, listening to our ipod with candles lit, playing board games it reminded me of the times before we had cable, and before we were always on the internet. When we didnt need all the crap to entertain us. I miss those days alot.
We had killer thai food this weekend, and it so happens across from our fave thai place is a democratic party volunteer headquarters.

For 4 solid months we haven't been able to do loads of laundry or take baths, long showers or use the dishwasher. Unfortunately where we live used to be a swamp <or so they say> which means most people in the area have had to get their sewer pipes fixed <which starts at 5 grand>. It floods our basement where my sewing room is, and has ruined SO MUCH. We are hopefully getting approved for a low income family loan through the county to fix it. CROSS YOUR FINGERS!!!!!
We finally rented Zodiac, I liked it alot. I really want to go to the movies, Joe is taking me on a date nite this week lol yay!
I think I'm going to ask to go putt-putt golfing <we are putt putt coniseurs> 
and then maybe a movie. I'm really wanting to see 
Sienna Miller and Steve Buscemi WOOHOO! Our art theatre is also showing the Labyrinth. I'm going to drag my grandma along to that one haha.

I mean I have done nude little things before but that was before I had kids. I know it will be good in the long run because I know how I feel when I posted a semi full shot (butterflies at first then I just felt like yeah I am a sexy mama)
