i finished!! the book was so good. hmmm now what am i going to do with my evenings...
jormagund:
So what is greater? The satisfaction of having the epic complete... or the disappointment of knowing that there wont be any more forthcoming?
phunkyb1tch:
for now it's the satisfaction of having it complete, but it won't be long before i want more potter and sadly there will be none smile

i'm trying to be very good about not spoiling smile i just saw the newest movie tonight, loved it!

being on the road like that must be tough some days, i think i drive too fast to do it for long. at least the view changes...cubeland can get quite boring
jormagund:
75% of trucks on the road have speed limiters on them. Including mine. Keeps me mostly out of trouble, but I can't do the speed limit in 70mph states... cest la vie. I'm tired... been (mostly) driving since 7am. Meh. I'll have something more intelligible to say tomorrow perhaps.

ok so im back home from first ever girl night out. apparently (well this group anyway) girls night out consists of drinking but not too much, then flirting with guys but not too much and then going home. so now i'm at home, almost drunk, horny and alone biggrin Whoot let's do THIS every thursday, hahaha
jormagund:
So I'm sure you're asking yourself what I'm asking... what's the point?

Better to stay at home with a 12 pack, a DVD, and someone of the opposite sex and... have TOO much of everything. biggrin
phunkyb1tch:
EXACTLY!!!! wink

i got invited to the office girls night out for tomorrow. ack. i'm the girl you catch hanging out at the race track hoping for a ride along. i'm not a girls night out girl. i've never done it. do we sit in a pack and make catty comments or do we hope a cute guy sends us a drink? oh maybe we could just...

I'm rather surprised they didn't do a head count. Not very responsible.

I'm still in a pain, and pain makes sleeping difficult, and I have at least 10 hours of driving to do Thursday. Ick. Walking hurts but so does using the pedals.

I'm planning to stay off until at least Tuesday though... longer if necessary but I don't want to stretch it out any more than necessary. Already have a vacation planned for late September, plus I've made purchases recently on credit... tsk tsk... need to pay that off.
phunkyb1tch:
oh vacation, vacation rules! just keep babying that ankle as much as you can

Haha.

Well, I'm sticking to tylenol because its the only thing I'm "supposed" to combine with my current prescription (for something totally unrelated). It feels better later in the day once I've used it a bit. Hurts the most when I first wake up. Woke up at 3am last night because it was bothering me and wasn't able to get back to sleep. That'd be a problem ordinarily, but I don't really have much driving to do today. I asked for a trip home so I could just stay off of it for a couple days. So I'll be home Friday. Got a ton of stuff to do while home, unfortunately. But perhaps if I can just wait a day or two before doing all that things will be better.

Not so sure about the "talking to my own anatomy" prescription, though. Sounds like a job for someone else, instead.
phunkyb1tch:
oh, i could tell your anatomy some stories...

Thanks, it'd be nice if I didn't have to wait so long to actually get it.

I have a (normal size, ie - 26" wheels) mountain bike in storage. Next trip home I'm going to go fetch it and see if it's in ridable condition or needs a tune-up or whatever. It wont really fit into my truck without being a huge pain in the ass and taking up more room than I want to sacrifice. But I MIGHT do so anyhow, just to tide me over until I get the new folding one. I'm just itching to DO something with my downtime instead of laying here watching DVDs or playing online games.
phunkyb1tch:
waiting is a brutal! i'm happiest when i can get out and just run or hike around some mountains...of course i would be remiss if i didn't tease a little about fun kiss things you could do.... wink

there are things i need kiss , but i'm not getting them tonight....i suppose i should just sleep
