And they say the PowerBook is easier to get into than an iBook. I've taken apart an iBook and felt pretty much the same way... the logic board, harddrive are on the bottom of the machine, layered so perfectly that one slip up snaps the speaker wire. I cracked the aluminum frame while I was fiddling around.

Luckily I was able to convince Apple it was their faulty Logic Board and they were nice enough (after trying to repair the ol' G3 iBook twice) to swap it out for a brand new G4.

And I've never been to a Starbucks... now I plan never to. Here's to dreams of MacBook Pros!

Not a big update today. Couple pics and news bits.

My apologies for not updating sooner, but my biopsy came back fine, so apparently a slightly enlarged liver that elevates some sort of something in my blood-work came standard when I first adopted this body.

Pretty sure the warranty has expired, so I'll have to make due.

Around the start of the holidays I traded...

It's more of a windows is confused sort of thing. If I've got itunes open to move stuff onto my ipod then the program will hang, but is still closeable usually. It just won't reopen afterwards. It's really hard to explain. The same with moving things onto the external drive. The progress window that shows the files being moved will just hang on a certain portion and then I have to do unsafe things that are likely going to end up in data loss or corrupted files. I'm going to take it to some crook around here so they can overcharge me. I'll pay some asshole price because this is thousands of dollars worth of music.

Thanks for your suggestion. I may give it a try anyways.

Well, the procedure was quick, and very easy. Worst part was the shot for the local anesthetic. After that, they could pretty much have removed my kidney all together, and I wouldn't have felt a thing.

Should get the results on Friday. We don't expect anything bad, but the wait still sucks.

Of course, the worst part is that I have to take it easy...

Um, yeah.

The question on all two of your minds that may actually read this: what have I been up to? In a nutshell, son, girlfriend, work and school.

I am pleased to report that all are going quite well.

My son turned 4 on my girlfriend's and my 6 month anniversary. I have about a year of school left before I officially join the...

Four hundred years ago people knew little about our
slippery universe. They thought that the earth was the
center of the entire fork and that the sun and all of the
stars revolved around it. But then a/an
Canadian named Copernicus discovered the truth.
The earth revolves around the beach ball
pi times a year.

Copernicus, whose last name was Kent, was born
in Warsaw, and he used one of the first blue
telescopes, which was invented by Asia Carrera.
This primitive telescope was little more than two pieces of
pho stuck on each end of a/an beer.
In 1600 an Italian reporter named Galileo
expanded Copernicus's jingly theories, but during the
Inquisition in Italy he was poorly arrested. After
singing for six months in jail, Galileo was
forced to drink .

I know, I know.

I get into a relationship, and this whole updating thing goes straight down the tubes.

I still get on and read all of your entries, though... kiss

you defanetly have your hands full! I am finding that with dating also. It really takes away that time you used to be able to spend on your own. Especially with having a chld and a girl/boyfriend. But it is all worth it in the end right? wink
bleeder:
That is awesome! I am stoked for you and yours. wink
