I meant to mention this yesterday, but Google Maps rawks! Still in beta, and I've noticed a couple of glitches, but overall it's what every other map site strives to be.
And they did it all with open standards like DHTML and JavaScript. Go Google!
I really need to start getting to bed earlier. Went to sleep at about 1:30am last night (or this morning, rather), and still had to get up at 7:00am. Not too bad, but it starts to wear you down after a few nights like that.
A friend I went to high school with is coming into town from Chicago for the next week or so. I haven't seen him in a couple of years, but we e-mail back and forth. Woohoo! A drinking buddy!
A Makeover Story
Let's pretend that this is me:
Do not attempt to adjust your monitor---I really am that white; and that was on a tropical island.
The point, though, is that I'm a pretty boring dresser. What this means is that I'm set for things to wear at work, but I have very little in the way of garb to go out and have fun it.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it (and I hope you do---I could obviously use the help, and you ladies are always looking for excuses to dress your men
), is to give me images of clothes I should get with part of my yearly bonus I'm getting in a week or so, and links showing me where I can get them.
Bonus points if you live anywhere close to me and offer to take me yourself.
