I was almost killed by a truck on my bike today and to avoid him I had to hit a curb. I broke my right wrist and maybe broke my left. So no updates for awhile, or at least till I can type left handed. Ohh......... I can't even type righthanded.

Update Aug 3rd I just came from the hospital and had my right wrist reset and had a cast put on. Reset is when they stretch your bones and then the doctor actually pushs and crushs them into place with his hand. Oh the pain.
The good news is my left wrist is only badly sprained no broken bones.
I had so many strangers offer to help me do things when they saw me struggling. In the hospital a boy about 10 offered to fill out my paperwork when he saw me having problems writing, and last night at the urgent care a girl walked across the lobby to help me get my water bottle in my bag. It makes you realize there are good people in the world!
except for the asshole in the big white truck!

Yeah, life is humbling. Most broken bones can heal but death is permanent. Also, just think of what life was like before all the medical advancements that we enjoy today. A broken arm could have led to your demise in the 1800's. That's why today I got on my bike and just cruised so slowly taking in all the views and sounds of my city. I looked at every bird, person, tree and scrape and scratch on the sidewalks. I was enjoying myself and appreciated everything around me.
