Whats the difference between me being a photographer and me being in the Army?................I carried LESS equipment and got MORE sleep in the infantry! If you take scouting for models seriously you gotta hit the clubs! Albuquerque is nice as the downtown area has about 10 bars and clubs with in 2 minutes walking distance of each other.Most of the beautiful patrons I have worked with BUT every so often you luck out and find one who just turned 21. When the bars empty at 2 am you have several hundred people hanging out in the street!
HELL HATH NO FURY.... AS A PISSED OFF MODEL!.......I told another photographer to let a model I used in the past know about a $250 job for a promotional photograph for a company going to do a convention coming in. He said he would as I didnt have her new phone number! I asked him several weeks ago if he had contacted this model and he said he HAD and she was going to call me!
Well guess who I ran into at The Library last night!..oh The Library is a bar that has bookshelves and the girls wear schoolgirl outfits! Anyways was she PISSED.....he had never told her anything..and her car had fucked during that time and $250 would have paid to fix it! I SWEAR some of these fuckin idiot photographers are like JEALOUS boyfriends when it comes to models! If you have to get paronoid and not network to help a model or fellow photographer then you SUCK..I CANT HELP IT THAT IN A CITY OF OVER 600,000 FUCKIN PEOPLE YOU CANT FIND MORE THAN 3-4 MODELS!
anyways recruited about 10 models for different ventures. One nightclub manager offered me the club for any Maxim model search photos!
Today is DONT FUCK UP DAY!..I have a girl testing for Playboy and a 18 year old girl doing her high school senior pictures ..SHIT as tired as I have been...DONT FUCKIN MIX THEM UP! I was up 24 hours yesterday........my carreer would go to shit! Because the 18 year old is just as beautiful as the Playboy hopefull!
