Okay well it has definitely been a weekend to think about. Filled with Smiles, Laughter, Heartache, & Depression. But all that is about to change. The wonderful Miss SourSkittles is helping me recover my movies & music as we speak. I have done some thinking and in a positive way... I am trying to mend things that have gone wrong in my life due to my own decisions. I have a new outlook on life and it is a positive one. Nobody can bring me down unless I let them... Well I ain't letting anyone bring me down.

Back in July we moved back in to our old house in good old Abilene, TX. The garage was going to be gutted and remodeled for my bedroom. Well it was started in July and then continuously put off until about 2 weeks ago.

This is where the garage door use to be. We are putting in a big bay window.

This is the progress so far. All we have left is to put in the insulation and then drywall. After that its my hardwood floor and paint.


I am super excited. Hopefully everything will fit in the room. But once everything is in there I plan on doing some photos in there.

Well here comes some of the thoughts that were dragging me down this weekend:

I was thinking how that after what my Ex-Wife & EX-Fiance did to me I was never going to find someone to fill the giant whole I have in my tiny heart. I have found "Band-aids" but they were only temporary. When I started to get the feeling that things were really getting serious I would purposely sabotage everything. Then I would play the pity me card to make myself feel better about it all. When really I should have been a man about it and lived with what I did. I have tried to make a mends with a few of the people that will talk to me but that list is short. And I am truly sorry for doing everything I did and saying everything I said. Forgiveness is all I seek now and maybe I will rest easier.

I have been struggling to get work. Since we moved here I have had two jobs. Quit the first one due to way too much drug activity for my liking. And then they cut my hours. Second and most recent job was just a sad joke. The food they serve out soldiers is disgusting and I should report them. But I won't because a lot of the workers depend on that job. However my dad said he was going to look into it. X-Military man still looking out for his "Team" as he like to call them. Anyways, Things have had their ups & downs in this place. My best friend here has been great and I couldn't have stayed sane this long with out her. She is the one who actually helped me figure a lot of things out this weekend. Well after she almost kicked my ass when she found a noose stashed behind my "workout clothes"
