Hey Cody,
I got the CD from Linda today and although I am very appreciative of you coming and taking photos, I am not happy with the pics. Out of 169 pictures I am literally in about 10...5 or so that I maybe posed in, the others I was either in the background, or not ready or posed in and I look like crap
I know we agreed that you would be taking pictures of the party, however my husband and I are pretty obsolete. Chris told me after the party that he gave you more money on top of your rate to get some of me which makes me more upset because I'm in a limited few however there are several of certain people that were at the party. I'm not a professional photographer but I take a lot of pics. Anyone who knows me knows that I always have a camera when I go somewhere and unfortunately I didn't keep my camera with me the night of the party because you were there, and I'm kicking myself now because I don't have hardly any good pics of my husband and I to show for the hard work we did to throw this party. Regardless, I'm glad you came, but me being me, I had to vent my frustration.

I am sorry you are not happy with the CD. I will be sure to refund you some of the money back. I tried to be in the party area as much as i could to take as many pitctures as i could but i kept being torn away and to the set in the garage. I tried to do as i was asked and take as many of you as possible. I wanted to cath you more off gaurd having a good time than to be posed in all the pictures. I did my best to capture as many people having fun as I could but comments were made that i needed to go elsewhere and to stay away from some people. Again I am sorry I was not able to live up to your expectations. And I will get half the money back to you.

My husband and I talked it over last night and we feel that that is the fair thing to do. Let me know when/where you would like to meet up. Just to clarify: I still think you are fantastic at what you do and I know on a one on one session the pics would turn out great. At some point in the future I still would like to do pin-up and holiday photos with you.

Well as soon as i can get the money together i will let you know. And just so you know i will be packing up my camera and equipment and put them away. After this major fail I have decided to stop dreaming and wake up to the fact that I do not know what I am doing. So there will not be pinup or any other type of photography done by me. This was a major eye opener for me.
Again I am sorry for failing at a job I was hired to do.

please don't think that way and you did not fail completely. You took some really great pics (only a couple of me and my husband tho lol
but some really great ones of others that you focused on. You are very talented but truthfully I think what happened was you did not entirely take care of the person who was paying you. I don't believe this was a major fail, it may have been an eye opening experience in prioritizing, that's all. You really should continue and I hope that you don't let this one event deter you from what you are truly talented at.

Well if i cant do something as simple as a halloween party, how am I suppose to do a pinup shoot?
There is a lot more thought that has to go into a pinup shoot. And apparently it is too much for me. I appreciate you giving me the oppotunity to do your halloween but it was definitely an eye opener. Thinking I can do something that i apparently cant give a whole new perspective on it all.

I'm very glad to hear that. But since we don't know each other that well, honestly I got a little freaked out when you said that you were deleting everything. Once you take time to clear your head, I hope that you will continue doing something that you had a passion for. It would be an epic fail if you quit for good. And then come to find out one of the guests at the party got pissed off at me because I wouldn't accept a check. So he has been talking shit about how "I did her wrong. and that I did such a crappy job that night." It has really got under my skin to the point where I just wanna move and start over and forget all this shit and stop chasing a dream that will never happen!
