aaaahhhhh!!!to be back in the lap of luxury. to have a toilet you can flush, hot running water, and food that i didn't have to kill myself....the joys of field school will not go unforgotten however.
and i can list them for you now....
1) quality trowling.
2) dill pickle potatoe chips.
3) jim beam.
and... i think thats about it.
i got back today from the u.p. and i will be sleeping here shortly. soooo tired!!!
i had never slept on a cot for sooo long before. i am now intimately acquainted with the lithic debitage of stone tools. i will never again confuse quartzite with quartz.
however, i must sleep now..i will write more later with lots of juicy details of jumping in the freezing lake naked. and so on.
