I got to see Evanescence at Avalon Sunday, then next week I bought Dresden Dolls ticket at Axis, YAY!!!!!!!

The Evanescence show was great. The first band (Atomship) annoyed me greatly, the lead singer sounded like a wanna-be Jonathan Davis with a weak background, though his back piece was of Yoda which was entertaining. Default was up next, whom I don't think anyone has heard from in forever with a slightly less Pop-Rock sound which was cool. (Always liked Default as one of those bands I would blare if they came on the radio, but would never buy the CD) and then Evanescence came on. Amy wore this pink, prom dress looking dress and after the first song, said "if you are thinking I am wearing this dress cause I lost a bet, you are right!!!" The crowd loved it.

This had been the second time I have seen them, Sunday and once in September, and the first show was remarkable, this show was better. More emotion forced to the surface, and more amusement between songs. ::Sigh:: Could watch them constantly.

Anyway, I'll write more by, if not before Wednesday so I can give my impressions of the Dresden Doll Show
