It's been a long, exhausting weekend. All kinds of drama at work. I need a vacation. And a drink.

I need to start looking for a second job. Summer is always slow season for restaurants.
Oh! I had a couple good conversations with my general manager and district manager. We talked about my future with the company and I told them my goal was to be a manager at some point. They encouraged me to pursue it and said that they think I would be a good fit. From the sounds of it, I'll be moving up a bit too. So that's pretty exciting news.

My life revolves around work lately. I need to get out more.
