As I haven't written in a while. I have decided to post my thoughts, my doings and plans.
Thinking Lightly:
As I have not posted I have been around to check in, check out the boards and check out whats going on with the people of my friends list. Everything has been fine it seems aside from something I've noticed about the boards. It really didnt strike me til now that there is a strong 'elitest' feel to the boards. It seems that newer members just go unnoticed or ignored with their posts as well there is always mention of 'back in the day' or 'the old SG's'. This is said in such a tone of pulling seniority. It saddens me. However, maybe I looked a little too far into that.
Doing Nothing:
I really havent been doing much aside from work and the bar whenever I can with the friends I keep close. Living in a small town has its benefits but I feel as if I am missing meeting new people. What is it about previous years that made making new friends so much easier. Now it seems like you cant meet a soul without having an entirely different agenda. I dont understand it, but I guess thats how it goes as the years go by.
Planning or Plotting?
As boring as my life seems from the last paragraph there is excitment in the near future. For This upcoming weekend is my long overdue return to London, Ontario. Just for a weekend but I've really been meaning to go. Actually I've just really been waiting to leave to anywhere. Anything to escape the confined everyday life/routine. Even so, London is always on my list.
Back to the point: Its off to Agression '06 for me. 28 bands, 2 nights and a fuckload of drinking & friends. So if you are in the area, get your tickets now and show up. Also Randie, I expect you to be there.
The following weekend its two birthday to celebrate. I think I may make a weekend of it since the festivities are taking place in Toronto. Who knows, even catch up with a few others who wouldnt be on the guestlist.
That seems to be it aside from some most important news...
Nixon's new set. God this girl is gorgeous. Even in Circus makeup. Have I mentioned lately that I want to marry this girl? No? Well now I have.
