it's official
well, it's finally happened. i took my PT test this morning, and i passed. i'm allowed 17:00 to run my 2 miles and i ran it in 16:02.
far better than i was truly expecting, but a very nice and welcome surprise. that being said, ever since i hurt my back in '99 i've continually and steadily gained weight. i'm no fatass or anything, but i failed my tape test today. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!
so now i'm no longer promotable unless i can get the doctor to agree with me that the reason i'm "fat" is because of my back injury and because i can't stay as active as if i wasn't hurt.
SHIT SHIT SHIT!!! but hey, at least i passed my test. i'd rather be overweight and passing the test as opposed to failing. or even worse, failing and overweight. ugh...
oh well, i'll just have to see if the doc agrees with my theory. if that happens then i'll be back on the P list. (crosses fingers) not much for prayin myself, but if you are, please do so for me.
