Well, I flew into beautiful Fayeteville, NC, today.
I'm going to take a nice little road trip to Charleston, SC, today and celebrate my (relatively) early return with with friends and family.
It's been another one of those experiences, this deployment. I'll share once I get back and catch my breath. For right now, I'm just enjoying absorbing sights, sounds, and sensations that seem equally familiar and alien at this point (recurring and regular laughter, for example; inebriation; the unique ass-pain derived from 16 or so hours of back-to-back flying...).
