Well, I guess the war is on, full force, now. I only hope a lot of people got out of the city before Saddam's lap dogs locked the place down. Everytime I think I've seen the worst traits humanity has to offer, something new reminds me of how low one can go. 
Not being able to reach any of my friends in the Gulf sure sucks. I can only hope they're ok. Funny how I'm probably the only guy in America right now frothing to fly over there. I don't know how I'd ever reconcile with myself if one of them got hurt and all the while I was picked for a year in Korea.
I hope this gets over with soon.
