Well.

Last night didn't feel too rough, but I still had trouble piecing together the last couple of hours' worth of events this morning.

The good news is, I didn't do anything illegal or offensive. That bad news? Several of my friends claim I was being "mushy" with my on-again, off-again girl. This after my declaration that, along with the old year, the relationship would take a bow.

In Vino Veritas, I guess.

UPDATE

Aaaw, damn. This new year's day has been quite possibly the most boring in all my years. Everyone's recuperating, the ATMs on base are fucked, and there wasn't a single club or pub worth hanging at.

Even worse, my memories from last night are flooding in, and the consensus is... What An Ass...

I am officially going to try not drinking around a certain girl here, because my drunken subconscious quite obviously wants something the coherent sober me doesn't. There's nothing like the gut-wrenching, eye-rolling realization of just how fucking sappy you were while under the influence.

I swear there should be a law enacted where nothing I say while inebriated can be held against me.
