Same shit, different day. I'm trying not to dwell on how banal the last couple of months have been. It's actually kind of depressing that I haven't had anything of import to report for so long...
It's looking like I'll be in the Air Force for another year (though there's always the chance that my application for a 12 month extension will be denied). Much depends on that little bit of bureaucracy--classes, money, deployments, travel, etc.
I don't have much on my immediate calendar. There's some live music shows I'm planning on seeing in the next couple of weeks; hopefully some of the local bands will be OK. I'm really looking forward to taking a road trip to South Bend, Indiana, to see the Fighting Irish play Tenessee. My prospective road buddy is a big Volunteers fan, so we should have some fun while our respective teams face off.
Oh, hell, I can only stretch my doings of this boring-ass month so far. Here's hoping I have something better to report in a week or two.
