Things have been really great lately. Been meeting some nice women and have been a lot more social which has always been a low point for me.

I got hired to do a 5.1 surround sound mix for my friend's experimental film. He has gotten a couple of short films into Sundance already and is just an all around great guy. Super positive and enthusiastic about my work always. So he has this experimental film and somehow through a photographer friend got to meet Tim Alexander who is the original and now current drummer for primus. So just for the fuck of it he e-mailed Tim and asked if he's be interested in composing an experimental drum piece to go with his 10min film.

So Tim has already recorded and mixed his stereo track and he is sending me the original pro tools file that i am going to remix in 5.1 while i also use his mix as a reference track. This is going to be bad-ass. I am going to do something insanely crazy with it... I can't fucking wait to get on the Dub Stage... I'll probably end up doing a proper LtRt of it too.
