Hooray for Mark! My buddy from home just moved out here to sunny California. He just got his Masters Degree in Space Engineering from the University of Michigan and got a job working for Nasa as an engineer. He is a smart cookie. He was with me for my new years in Chicago and we watched the Rose Bowl game together with another couple friends who went to UofM with him. I proudly wore my USC sweatshirt even though I was raised in the Big House in Ann Arbor and honestly didn't give a shit. Other than it also gave me a reason to tease mom.

Anyways, Mark and I played in a band together the last year I was at Michigan State. He played guitar and I played drums. I missed getting my kit in his moving van frown I have really been missing playing lately, and my makeshift drumkit that is the inside of my car as I drive around has really lost its luster lately. Though today my feet did keep up with the Darkest Hour's drummer for the first time ever where my left leg actually felt like it was moving freely and not forced or spasming. Good day for that reason alone.

Anyways, I want to write some music with him. He is really talented and I am starving for a musical friend and film school doesn't really give that to me. Strange how few musicians I've found here. I'm still really surprised. I helped engineer a scoring session for a graduate student's film today. I've caught the bug again. I need to start recording more. This is the studio where we do our recording. That is a random picture when I was just playing in there. That is my 1976 Gibson SG Standard and 1982 Marshall JCM800 Lead Series with the vertical inputs. To guitar people that may mean something, for everyone else roll your eyes and laugh at the dumb things I have tremendous knowledge about.
